Welding machines are precision instruments that work under extreme electrical and thermal stress. Proper maintenance is essential not only for the longevity of the equipment but also for the safety of the welder and the quality of the weld. At Ashtar Trade Test & Technical Training Centre, we teach our students the value of equipment care.
Daily Maintenance Checklist
- Clean the Work Area: Dust and metal particles can be sucked into the machine's cooling fans, causing overheating.
- Check Cables and Connections: Look for frayed insulation or loose connections, which can cause erratic arcs or electrical hazards.
- Inspect the Gun/Torch: Ensure the contact tip and nozzle are clean and free of spatter. Replace worn parts immediately.
- Ground Clamp: Verify that the ground clamp is clean and making solid electrical contact with the workpiece.
Regular maintenance prevents unplanned downtime and ensures your welding parameters stay consistent.

روزانہ کی دیکھ بھال کی فہرست
- کام کی جگہ کی صفائی: دھول اور دھاتی ذرات مشین کے کولنگ پنکھوں میں جا سکتے ہیں، جو اسے بہت زیادہ گرم (overheating) کر سکتے ہیں۔
- کمیبلز اور کنکشنز چیک کریں: کٹی ہوئی تاروں یا ڈھیلے کنکشنز کو تلاش کریں، جو غیر مستحکم آرک یا بجلی کے حادثات کا سبب بن سکتے ہیں۔
- گن/ٹارچ کا معائنہ: اس بات کو یقینی بنائیں کہ کانٹیکٹ ٹپ اور نوزل صاف ہیں۔ گھسے ہوئے پرزوں کو فوری بدل دیں۔
- گراؤنڈ کلیمپ: تصدیق کریں کہ گراؤنڈ کلیمپ صاف ہے اور ورک پیس کے ساتھ مضبوط برقی رابطہ بنا رہا ہے۔
باقاعدگی سے دیکھ بھال کام میں غیر متوقع رکاوٹوں کو روکتی ہے اور آپ کے ویلڈنگ پیرامیٹرز کو درست رکھتی ہے۔
